this is the last version i will download. the splash screen gives you a big green "button" that says "express install". on a hunch i hit the much smaller, link like, "custom install" and sure enough, that piece of crap google chrome was hidden in there as an automatic install. this is a fairly nice little malware removal tool, however, i hate deceptive tactics used to trick you into installing a program you do not use or want. shame on the developers for doing this.@ zootopia3001: i didn't get it either, i refused to install the program after looking at the "custom install". my point is, they hid the fact that "express install" would put chrome on your machine. i wont use their software again, as i have with other installers that try to pull this crap.

installed windows 8 on vmware player. works great, vmware player that is running on linux mint machine. you know what, you can keep windows 8. although it is fast even for a windows os, is stinks as far as productivity and getting to and working on applications. it's all show and not much for customization.

great application.i was previously using dreamweaver 8 by macromedia.i did not bother with cs3 or cs4, i decided to give cs5 ago and was impressed with the changes. so impressed with using the trial version for a week, that i purchased the software.

i've dedicated one of my servers for tor (with a modified tor server), now i can log the activity, and take a closer look.i'm not the only one, who run a "snoop-server" on tor, so paranoid people, you better strap on your tinfoilbeanie.

the release notes say it is for the sblive "value" only. has anyone seen the version for the regular sblive? or, are they the same?

desktop icon toy is not a gimmick or just a party toy, but a well thought out missing desktop tool and inspired novelty that makes my desktop life more organized and enjoyable. i thought when i first saw it's description that it would be fun for about 5 minutes. however, the ability to save and restore layouts peeked my interest. so, after installing desktop icon toy v2.6 i was amazed at it's functionality to lock down my unruly desktop jungle. i am finally able to uninstall an outdated, no longer supported windows 95 clunker that only poorly saved my desktop icon positions. now i can truly organize them and save their layout and have peace of mind that they will always be where i need them. not only that, i can now lock them in place so if my touchpad accidentally picks one up, that move is rejected and it is summarily and cutely returned to it's original position. the various shapes and patterns are a hit at office parties and the clock reminds us of our deadlines. this program is continually updated and now includes the ability to export your settings, and password protection of your layout.please support these innovative programmers who are continually working to fix and improve desktop icon toy by buying and using this great utility tool."

thanks, to vmware making the first move with releasing their server edition for free, microsoft now follows suit. hopefully, we will see some stiff competition in an area that hasn't seen much innovation in a long time. iscsi support in vs2005 is the first shot across the bow!

up to 4.84 now.great program. 6 annoying problems i can think of right now.1. the tool bar icons are ridiculously small. i'm not kidding you, those icons are only about 2mm on some displays. i think nenad has exceptional vision, and believes everyone else does. come on man, make the icons 4x bigger, or at least an option for large icons.2. the "save current state at desktop" is wonderful, but has a win 7 quirk. you can click the icon on the desktop and it works fine. however, when you pin it to the task bar, it starts in a tiny miniature window, not saving the window position and size settings.3.when you choose to not show the address bar, the tool bar icons also disappear. a "back", "forward", and "up 1 level" button among others are very important even without an address bar. 4. selecting the check boxes in the file window lags. you check the box, and it appears not to be checked. in a few seconds the box will then appear checked. this has been improved over the months, the delay used to be terrible, now it's not terrible, just bad. 5. refreshing is slow or absent. when files are deleted or moved, the window is not updated. i must use f5 a lot, very annoying.6. large file operations completely lock the program. when unzipping, moving or deleting large files, the program is completely unresponsive until the operation finishes. the windows explorer does not do this. this is annoying. i think q-dir needs better multi threading functionality.
