it would appear that i have made a very grave error using foxit reader.having saved two completely separate projects in two separate files i assumed when i opened one and the others appeared also- in other tabs- that xing them out wouldn't hurt the file saved elsewhere .how horrendously wrong i was .3 hours worth of work lost forever.i wont bore you with how much i loathe and despise them.from now on however , if anyone asks me i will tell them the free foxit reader is worth exactly what it costsor less a lot less

i was a 3d geek and i knew a bunch of programs, 3dmax, maya, carrara but i was not a master of any of them, when it came time for me to do a serious project i wanted to do something that required more knowledge then i had any any one of those other programs, so i finally sat down and forced myself to learn blender.damn i'm glad i did, its far easier and in some ways a lot more powerful than some of those other programs, and every single part of it is free, 100% free, including all addons that you might need for any demands of your project. i now use only blender, all the other stuff went out the window.

good thing. really takes back eax for realtek hd integrated soundcards for most games.but you must add a game to the list, by finding it's starting executable folder (e.g. system in witcher, main game folder in d&d online, etc).it's not working perfectly at this moment (strange echoes/clipping sometimes), but i really can't wait for newer version. it's only beta v0.1 now.however - i'm using it (sometimes lowering the buffers), and wating for newer edtitions.

i don't understand why it's not secure at all as the list you're talking about is based on signed files.did you ever install any malware digitally signed ?comodo worked on a software more friendly as lot of people were lost with all the alerts they had to create rules, alerts for the firewall, alerts for defense+, as they didnt know what to do with all those, comodo can run with a limited number of rules to create for common users that hate all those complicated softwares with tones of settings and alerts.but what i like the best is that comodo is still configurable to have full control on the traffic with alerts for anything, so you create many rules for each process, or use predefined policies like "browser policy" or "ftp client" , "email client, outgoing only, trusted apps and blocked apps.the defense+ is a powerfull security tool to monitor all files activities and decide what a file will be allowed to do on the system.defense+ is protecting by default important files and folders, you can add your own files and folders rule, there's a default protected reg keys and you can also add your own keys you want to protect, there's a protected com interfaces also configurable like you want.and to help defense+ configuration, there's a sandbox where anything that's not part of trusted software vendors is launched sandboxed with a level of security you chose to run the file sandboxed. there are several levels of security from partially limited to blocked. setting blocked for unknown files is too high as the file cant run so just before blocked you have "untrusted files" that will launch the unknown file with not enough rights to corrupt your system.the files unrecognized will stay into the sandbox as long as you decide about it. if you know the file, so it's not a problem, sometimes comodo doesnt know all softwares, and the unrecognized files sandboxed stored into a specific place are submitted to the cloud so, they're analysed and if they're unknown, after some days, they'll be classified as trusted or not, even if you didnt install the av, you got the cloud that will inform you about the unrecognized file.this software is really great and needs to be tested, you can use the version with the av, but i like comodo for his firewall and defense+i use a shareware as antivirus to complete comodo.

amazing compression ratio. able to add a recovery record. format is supported in peazip. moderately fast when used for maximum compression, but slower than winrar and 7zip. uses no more than 2gb of memory and doesn't come anywhere close to 100% processor load for maximum compression. with a little gui polish this could be the best file compressor ever.i had over a hundred multi gigabyte files that needed to be compressed and i wasn't happy with the compression of the most popular file compression programs, so i decided to try this. it's not the fastest, but there are very few programs that can come close to its compression ratio and fewer that are as fast at their highest setting. on my intel core i5 over-clocked to 3.42ghz, 3.6ghz with turbo mode enabled and 8gb of memory, i'm able to compress 7.3gb in 35 minutes flat. the highest compression ratio i achieved was an .iso 7.3gb (6.656gb without random padding) compressed to 2.181gb (29.9% compression). i didn't even think that was possible. the average for an .iso was 77% compression, but it depends on the file.thank you so much.

version 2.0 introduced native utf-8/utf-16 support, alas, many other parts of the application have been rewritten and become buggy, e.g. search in a file "misses" existing information.

lavalys everest is one of my favorite apps period. tons of features and excellent gui. been a fan forever and it just keeps getting more comprehensive at every release. i recommend everest ultimate edition for anyone wanting to know their computer inside and out, monitor sensors or even benchmark a few where is the everest ultimate edition here at fileforum? great software, worth the price. until may 2007, coupon code v4everest is good for 30% off a new license.
