in the past two years i have suggested 5 new features, all of them were implemnted within a few months top for the group of testers and they are all available for public now.. this editor is trully the most growing one in its category. small but powerful.get ready for a simple text editor, yet full of new features and text tools - you will never learn them all. don't type, ted it!

i have spent a couple of years testing uninstallers and have not been overwhelmed or even "whelmed" by what was available for free or for fee. no matter what i experimented with, there was always trash left behind, either in registry entries or files or folders. in installed revo and played with it in virtual mode and was surpirsed by what i didn't find. i made the move to a regular install and went at it again. i still liked what i was seeing. the only hitch i found turned out to be a problem with my system and not revo uninstaller. i liked the idea of tracking an installation so i sprang for the fee and tried it again. i tried it again with two versions fo the same program in the same directory which would leave overlap in some of the dll files. using the uninstall function in conjunction with the traced install, i played and uninstalled and reinstalled the two versions. never did it bark at me or leave an unexpected result. i still like the free version but have found the fee version to be outstanding and 100% trustworthy. with al the work i do and being the perpetual tinkerer, it has been worth every penny. thanks revo!
oh, god no, don't do it you crazy bas****, every time you install a ubuntu prerelease you shoot yourself if the foot, and bork your system....don't do it!**click the download button** well, i'll just check out the live cd...
i don't think any of you have tried the new, this is not meant to be insulting , but you are talking about old versions. this is something totally different, a new version that is optimized for best performance when it comes to system resources. if you consider a back-up and cleaning feature is "bloatware", then you can always use a simple version like, bitdefender antivirus.i really thing you should try the rc after you proper uninstall the old version. i'm saying this because it's not really fair-play to trash a new version of a product by comparison with the old ones. sincerly, florin stiuca - bitdefender
installed and work with no problem
i'm concerned about the huge jump in memory needed for the app. the performance also seems oddly inconsistent. does trying to optimize the application for multi-core processors really have to come with such penalties?sticking with 4.11 for now. i need to do some more complex testing scenarios to figure out just how wide of an impact the latest version (4.20) this new version will have on the types of files that i typically archive.btw - johnk119 has a good point in that on 64 bit systems, we do have tons of memory and a different type of memory management than on 32 bit systems, so that may help take the edge off of my concerns somewhat.for all my 32 bit systems, i'm still using windows xp. all of my 64 bit systems are windows 7 and have at least 8 gig of ram. the ability properly address more than 4 gig of memory is the primary motivation for me to be using windows 7 right now. windows 7 64 bit has much, much better driver support than windows xp 64 bit has ever had, at least from my personal experience.all this to say, maybe i'm worried too much in terms of the 64 bit version of winrar.
i've used it for ages.very good algorithms for working out best traffic movement to get most out of connection.mainly if u do a few things at once,eg.p2p or streaming.can make surfing much more responsive, this is a fact.all the main download sites, softpedia(one of the biggest in the world)give it very good, softonic 3 out of 5.majorgeeks 4.84 out of 5.i think old chopsuey with his vapour obviously doesn't know what he's talking about and mucked up the ratings which can't be 1 out of 5,he's just being silly.
